UpStreet UpStreet This Month Weekends at UpStreet Events Parent Connect

What is UpStreet?
UpStreet is the small group and large group environment for elementary-school-aged children.
In small groups, kids are divided by grades for Bible stories, instructional praise and group discussions.
In Upstreet, children can meet friends, talk about God, and participate in a time of meaningful worship.
We concentrate on 3 principles:
1. I need to make the wise choice and wisdom is found in the Bible.
2. I can trust God no matter what.
3. I should treat others the way I want to be treated.
UpStreet takes place during all weekend services on Saturday and Sunday
For parents attending on Sundays: You are highly encouraged to place your children in the 9am Upstreet and then attend Kidstuf as a family at 10:20, OR attend Kidstuf as a family at 10:20 and then place your children in the 11am Upstreet.
How is UpStreet structured?
The environments are divided by grade (K-5th). Children begin in small group environments in classrooms based on their grade. Then they come together in the Gym for worship and a large group lesson. Finally they return to their small group environment to reinforce and discuss what they have learned.
UpStreet will help you become a spiritual hero and influencer in the lives of your children.
How?
There are several ways. . . . .
Refrigerator Door Cards -
Pick up these cards each week when you sign your child in for UpStreet, or download them from the Parent Connect Page.
The refrigerator door card tells you what your child has learned each
week and gives you things to talk about during the week.
God Time Cards -
Your child will receive this challenge card each week in their Upstreet Small Group Environment. If they complete
the 4 short devotional activities and have you sign off on it they will
receive a small prize the following week. You may also download these from the Parent Connect Page
Virtue Packs - Moses had some great advice for parents. He said teach these things to your children when you sit at home, when you walk along the road, when you lie down, and when you rise up. These are times when parents have unique influence in the lives of their children. Parents at Crossroads can subscribe to a monthly Virtue pack to take advantage of these moments of influence. In it are: meal time discussion starters, bedtime stories, morning encouragement cards, and a CD to listen to on the road, all of which are directly related to what their children are learning each week at church.
