Encouraging women to embrace
Christ-like relationships through

love, fellowship and spiritual growth.

Arise Women's Ministries is for all women 18 years or older. We want to meet ladies right where they are and come along side them - encouraging, supporting, praying and equipping them in their journey with God. We want to grow our faith and demonstrate His love and grace through our lives and relationships. We want deeper, Christ-centered relationships with each other through women's small groups, prayer meetings, fellowships and mentoring. We want to encourage and equip women to faithfully and fully use their God-given gifts to glorify God. As we worship and serve the Lord together, we want every woman to feel loved and accepted for who she is in Christ so that she is transformed and empowered to live out Christ's love and grace.

There's A Place For You

Today's world is full of temptations, hurts, and many opportunities to just "tune out."  Celebrate Recovery (CR) is where you can come as you are, regardless of past struggles.  We need a real faith to deal with very real problems and struggles.
CR is a place where you can belong.

Celebrate Recovery is a Christ-centered ministry designated to bring healing to people with all kinds of hurts, hang-ups and bad habits.  You are welcome at our meetings, regardless of your struggle or personal beliefs.  We offer a safe & encouraging environment where individuals can seek recovery and we maintain the highest standards of confidentiality.  We will support you and encourage you without attempting to fix or control you.

Our hope is that in a world filled with suffering, people would be able to share their stories rather than be isolated in their pain.  It is our desire that in the caring community of Celebrate Recovery, people will gain a greater perspective of God's redemptive purpose for their lives.

The Day Resource Center Ministry is passionate about feeding and clothing those less fortunate.  The Bible tells us to share what we have been given:

For I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me drink, I was a stranger and you welcomed me.  Matthew 25:34 (ESV)

On the first Saturday of each month, we prepare large quantities of food (60 servings) and serve a meal to 50-70 homeless and low income individuals 11:45am - 2pm in Howard County.  We also serve dinner on the third Wednesday of the month, 3:00 - 6:00pm.

Help is needed in food preparation, food service, in the food and clothing pantry, monitors for laundry and showers, and clean up.  We need 8 people each month.  If you are interested in helping, click the button below!

Psalm 146:7 - He upholds the cause of the oppressed and gives food to the hungry."

Vision Statement
Crossroads Church of the Nazarene builds on the foundation set by Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. The Crossroads Culinary Ministry (CCM) strives to glorify God through the service of serving. We do this by providing safe, healthy, and delicious meals to the church and wherever there is a need in our community. We commit ourselves to operating with the highest standards as it relates to food preparation and service.

Mission Statement
CCM is responsible for feeding God's people with safe, healthy, and delicious meals. We also support other ministries within the church to include scheduled church activities and events in the surrounding communities. We provide support with preparation of foods for the One Day Resource Center, as well others.

CCM's purpose is to use food service as a vehicle to reach those that are hungry, and to show the love of Jesus Christ through Christian services.

The Laundromat Ministry began in 2017 with the goal of sharing kindness with community members and also to provide monetary assistance for a practical need -- clean clothing.  A small group from Crossroads meets the first Tuesday of every month at 6:30pm to hand out quarters and snacks to laundromat customers, but more importantly, to share the love of Christ.  When showing kindness to the laundromat customers, we are seeking to change and transform the world, one person at at time, one discussion at a time.

We invite you to join us on the
first Tuesday of the month as we serve our community!
Sudsville Laundromat in Catonsville:
5511 Baltimore National Pike, Catonsville 21228.

This is a great opportunity to be the hands and feet of Christ as a family.
Open to all ages -- children are welcome!

Project Hope Ministry is passionate about sharing the heart of the Father through orphan care, foster care, adoption, outreach to those facing crisis pregnancies, and outreach to our struggling or less fortunate neighbors.

Crossroads Church of the Nazarene believes that God cares deeply for the most vulnerable - those who are abandoned, without hope or home, and especially - the unborn, the orphan, and the needy.  We believe that Jesus Christ has tasked the Church to participate with him in caring for the vulnerable in our world.  We read in the Bible that God considers this act pure religion and true fasting (James 1:27 and Isaiah 58).

Part of our vision here at Crossroads is to reach the world with the message of Jesus Christ.  Yearly we commit a large amount of resources in order to accomplish this goal.  This is only possible though the generous giving of our Christian community.  We believe that world missions is a mandate given to us by Jesus himself and can be found in Acts 1:8 where He proclaims,

But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth. (NIV)

Our missions work at Crossroads begins locally and extends to the world. Locally, members of our congregation prepare and serve a hot meal for the homeless community in Howard County, collect used clothing, and minister to inmates at the Howard County jail. Globally, our congregation raises support for missionary families, provide funding for building projects, and make pillow-case dresses for girls in areas served by Nazarene missionaries. One project we are especially excited about is our partnership with a new church plant in Curaçao.

Karen Brash is our Global Missions Director. She has a passion for mobilizing the church in mission through prayer, discipleship, giving, education. You can contact Karen by email if you would like to know more about Global Missions at Crossroads Church.

Mission Myths Busted Graphic.jpg

There are half truths about missions that never seem to go away.  These half truths may seem insignificant but are really myths that sideline the church (that's you and I) from being effective kingdom builders.  In this Missions Myths Busted series, the Crossroads Missions team want to bust some of these Myths and clear the way for you to think, act, and pray more strategically about God's global mission.

MYTH: The Missions frontline is "over there"

Missions Myths Busted - Part 2
