Join us for a Spring Family Cookout!

We’ll provide the grilled food - bring a side to share! We’ll be outside on the lawn, so bring a blanket or lawn chairs if you would like!

We value each child and family that comes to our church! Crossroads Kids is here to help kids KNOW Jesus and GROW in relationship with Him and others, so that they can SHOW their faith to the world around them. Our hope is that our kids will develop an insatiable desire to be a part of God’s purpose for their lives and His Church.

We recognize that no one has more influence over your child than you. Because of this, we believe that what happens at home is most important. Church and home, individually, ensures a child has a better future. However, when the two work together with the same mission, the impact is greater.

We are committed to partnering with your family by providing tools to support your family spiritually. Please browse around the features here and take advantage of the resources available as we partner together to give our kids the best view of God, His Church, and His world.

Check-In/Check-Out Procedures
In order to provide the safest environment for your children while in our care, we follow a strict check-in process. Our Check-In Center is located upstairs outside of our Crossroads Kids Sanctuary. Our friendly Welcome Team will collect your information. You will receive a security label, one to be placed on your child(ren) and one for you to present upon pick-up. No child will be released without the security label. Finally, you will be given a few resources and directed to the appropriate classroom. Each classroom opens 15 minutes prior to the start of our 9am service (8:45am) and our 11am service (10:45am).

Safety Matters: Background Checks
All Crossroads Kids volunteers are carefully trained and background-checked before serving in your children’s classrooms. We also adhere to the “2 With You” rule, which means that at least two adults, two staff members, or a combination of two (adult and youth helper) shall be with any child(ren) at all activities and in classrooms or other enclosed areas.

Wellness

Children who have shown signs of fever, vomiting, or other contagious illnesses should be symptom-free and fever-free (without medications) for 24 hours before coming to Crossroads Kids.

"For we are created special, in Christ Jesus, to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do." Ephesians 2:10.

Created Special is a program that partners with families in supporting our children with special needs to make CKids accessible for all. For more information or to join our team as a volunteer, please contact Pastor Gretchen.

The littlest of Crossroads Kids are important to us!  They have an intrinsic value simply because they were created by God.  How do we show them they are valued?  By caring for them with excellence.

In First Look, we provide an environment where little ones are given a "first look" at 3 basic Biblical truths: God loves me; God made me, and Jesus wants to be my best friend forever.  We believe in an active, hands-on approach to learning.  You can plan on a lot of jumping, singing, dancing, and laughter in every experience.

Crossroads Kids, also known as CKids, is an exciting and relevant environment designed especially for elementary-aged children (K- 5th grade). We believe that worship should be jammin’ loud, the Bible should never be boring, and great leaders show up and always care. By the time each kid heads off to middle school, we want to make sure these 3 basic truths stick:  I need to make the WISE choiceI can TRUST GOD no matter what, and I should treat OTHERS the way I want to be treated. Our core verse is found in Luke 2:52: “And Jesus grew in wisdom, and stature and favor with God and man.”

Large Group Time (located upstairs in the CKids Sanctuary) is where all K-5th graders gather to start. There are hilarious games to engage kids, incredible music to excite kids, and relevant storytellers and media to introduce the “Bottom Line” and Bible story, followed by grade-appropriate Small Groups in designated classrooms.

Small Group Time is all about relationships: relationships with other kids, leaders, and most importantly, Jesus. During small-group time, kids take the Bottom Line and learn how it applies to their daily lives. They learn how to study the Bible and make it personal and real to them through discussions and various activities. We believe a consistent environment is best for children of all ages, so we encourage your children to attend the same service each week. They will make friends and have the same small group leaders.
